ABOUT ME
Hi there, my name is Brodie. I am a Contemporary Singer-Songwriter, Performer and Vocal Coach based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Growing up in a small coastal town, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by lots of creativity. Starting from a young age, I was involved in numerous Musicals, Productions, Dance Ensembles, Theatre Groups and Choirs. This is when I realised I could turn my dreams into a reality and pursue them at a higher level.
I packed my bags and moved to Sydney to begin my tertiary education in 2018 at JMC Academy. I have now have completed my Bachelor of Music, with Majors in Vocals and Songwriting. During those years of study, I got to work with many reputable musicians and be trained by music professionals from an array of backgrounds, with specialisations in vocal technique, vocal health and songwriting. This is where my passion for songwriting grew, and I started to create, record and perform my own music.

Since completing my degree I have released 5 singles & featured on 3 singles, performed in numerous shows and musicals and recorded / wrote for other artists.

When I'm not teaching or in the studio, you can find me gigging around Sydney's live music scene, on stage in a show, recording in the studio or training.
Teaching

After completing my Bachelor of Music in 2019 I started my professional teaching career, teaching contemporary voice in singing schools and studios around Sydney. Wanting to run my own small studio, I opened up my doors in Kensington, offering affordable & professional lessons to all ages and levels. I have experience in teaching ages 4 - 70, beginner to advanced, AMEB & HSC exams, facilitating vocal workshops and group masterclasses with international clients. I hold an overwhelming affection for teaching, nurturing my students in their vocal journey. My aim is to build my students confidence, develop their voice through tailored lessons following vocal pedagogy frameworks and build their overall musicianship. As a teacher it is important that I am constantly learning that is why I am a proud member of APRA/AMCOS and ANATS; The Australian National Association of the Teachers of Singing, continuing to grow my knowledge on singing and teaching singing.
Specialising in Contemporary Vocals, Musical Theatre and Songwriting, my aim is to help find your voice, and develop your sound, as we work together to build your confidence, express yourself through the power of music and reach your musical goals.
There’s no single path for every singer. I tailor each lesson based off of YOUR voice, “Not one size fits all”! We will work on vocal technique, performance and songwriting (upon request).
